Returns & Exchanges

At Punjabi Roots, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help. Please read our returns policy below before sending anything back.
Returns Eligibility
You may return most items within 7 days of receiving your order for an exchange. To be eligible:
- Items must be in their original packaging, including all boxes, packaging materials, manuals, blank warranty cards and accessories.
- Items must be unused and in the condition you received them.
- You must contact us first to receive a Returns Authorisation (RA) number before sending anything back.
Any product returned without a valid RA number will not be processed for a refund or exchange.
How to Start a Return
- Contact us with your order number and reason for your return.
- We'll issue you a Returns Authorisation (RA) number.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include your RA number.
- Ship the item back to us using a tracked, insured delivery service.
Restocking Fee
Products returned that are not faulty may be subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover administration costs. Goods found to have been tampered with will not be accepted and will be returned at the customer's expense.
Non-Returnable Items
For reasons of hygiene and public health, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty:
- Kashera (Sikh underwear)
- Kirpans
- Any used items
Discounted or end-of-line products may only be returned for repair — refunds or replacements are not available for these items.
Exchange Shipping
All return shipping costs are paid by the customer. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service. Punjabi Roots is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
If you are returning items for exchange, please be aware that a second delivery charge may apply.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us immediately. These cases are given special priority and you can expect to receive the correct item within 72 hours, subject to availability. All delivery charges for incorrect items will be refunded.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll process your refund. Please allow approximately 5 working days for the refund to be completed after the item reaches us. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
